PepperFlick Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the PepperFlick platform, including the website, mobile application, and services related to food ordering, delivery, and vendor partnerships.
By using PepperFlick, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Terms for Users (Customers)
1.1 Account Registration & Usage
• Users must create an account by providing accurate details such as name, phone number, email, and delivery address.
• Users should keep their login credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Only individuals aged 18 or older are allowed to use the platform. If a minor uses the account, it must be under parental supervision.
• PepperFlick has the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of fraud, misuse, or violations of these terms.
1.2 Order Placement & Payment
• Orders must be placed through the PepperFlick app or website.
• Customers must review their order details (food items, quantity, delivery location) before confirming.
• Payments can be made using:
• UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, digital wallets
• Cash on Delivery (COD) (if available in the area)
• Once an order is placed, it cannot be modified.
• In case of payment failures, the amount will be refunded as per the payment gateway policies.
1.3 Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellations before order confirmation: Users can cancel their orders before the vendor accepts them without charges.
• Cancellations after confirmation:
• Once the vendor starts preparing the food, orders cannot be canceled.
• If canceled after confirmation, no refund will be provided.
• Refunds are applicable only if:
• The order is delivered late due to a vendor issue.
• The order is incorrect or missing items.
• The food is spoiled, contaminated, or not as described.
• Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days through the original payment method.
1.4 Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
• Engage in fraudulent activities, such as placing fake orders.
• Use abusive language or behave inappropriately with vendors or delivery partners.
• Attempt to manipulate pricing, discounts, or referral programs through fake accounts.
• Violate any applicable local, state, or national laws while using PepperFlick.
2. Terms for Vendors (Restaurant & Street Food Partners)
2.1 Vendor Registration & Eligibility
• Vendors must register with valid business details, including:
• FSSAI License (if applicable)
• GST Registration (if applicable)
• Valid bank account details for receiving payments
• Accurate contact details
• Vendors must upload an accurate and up-to-date menu, including food items, pricing, and availability.
• If a vendor changes their location, they must inform PepperFlick immediately, or their services may be suspended.
• PepperFlick reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend vendors based on business verification.
2.2 Order Management & Quality Standards
• Vendors must accept, prepare, and pack orders on time to ensure timely delivery.
• Orders should be packaged securely to maintain food quality and prevent spills or contamination.
• Vendors must ensure fresh and hygienic food preparation, following these hygiene guidelines:
• Maintain clean cooking areas and storage units.
• Use fresh ingredients and avoid expired products.
• Staff should follow personal hygiene standards, including handwashing and wearing gloves.
• Maintain temperature control for perishable food items.
• Regular hygiene inspections may be conducted by PepperFlick to ensure compliance.
• Any complaints regarding food quality may lead to penalties, order refunds, or suspension from the platform.
2.3 Pricing, Commissions, and Payouts
• Vendors must ensure that menu prices on PepperFlick match in-store prices.
• PepperFlick charges vendors a commission fee per order, which varies based on agreements.
• Payouts to vendors will be processed on a weekly basis to the registered bank account.
• Vendors cannot encourage direct orders outside the app to bypass commission fees.
2.4 Vendor Conduct & Compliance
Vendors must not:
• Cancel confirmed orders without a valid reason.
• Charge customers additional fees beyond the invoice generated on PepperFlick.
• Engage in fraudulent activities, such as marking fake orders as “Delivered”.
• Violate PepperFlick’s service agreements, food safety standards, or any applicable laws.
3. Terms for Delivery Partners (Riders)
3.1 Registration & Eligibility
• Riders must be at least 18 years old to register on PepperFlick.
• Riders must provide:
• Valid government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
• Driving license & vehicle RC (if applicable)
• Bank account details for payouts
• Valid vehicle insurance
• Riders must own a bike, cycle, or any approved delivery mode.
3.2 Order Pickup & Delivery
• Riders must pick up and deliver orders on time to the correct customer.
• Riders must not tamper with food packaging or alter orders in any way.
• If the rider is unable to deliver an order, they must return it to the vendor.
• Delays due to negligence may result in penalties or lower earnings.
• It is mandatory for riders to:
• Wear a helmet while riding.
• Follow traffic rules and road safety laws.
• Drive responsibly and avoid reckless behavior.
3.3 Insurance, Liabilities & Accident Reporting
• Riders are eligible for insurance coverage only while they are actively delivering an order.
• The insurance does not cover:
• Accidents or damages when the rider is not working for PepperFlick.
• Personal expenses not related to delivery services.
• In case of an accident, riders must:
• Inform PepperFlick immediately via the support helpline or app.
• Provide necessary details such as location, nature of injury/damage, and any police reports (if applicable).
• Seek medical assistance if needed.
• Continue working only if they are fit to do so; otherwise, PepperFlick may temporarily disable their account for safety reasons.
3.4 Earnings, Incentives & Payouts
• Riders earn per delivery, calculated based on:
• Base delivery fee
• Distance traveled
• Peak-hour incentives or bonuses
• Weekly payouts are processed to the rider’s registered bank account or wallet.
• Riders may receive performance-based bonuses for completing more deliveries.
3.5 Rider Conduct & Compliance
Riders must:
• Wear a PepperFlick uniform (if provided).
• Follow traffic rules and ensure safe driving.
• Behave professionally with customers and vendors.
Riders must NOT:
• Use abusive language or act aggressively towards customers.
• Cancel multiple orders without valid reasons.
• Engage in fraudulent activities, such as marking fake deliveries.
3.6 Termination & Penalties
• Riders with poor ratings, repeated complaints, or policy violations may be suspended or removed from the platform.
• Any fraudulent activity will lead to immediate termination and possible legal action.
